Succulent salmon in a savoury sauce, topped with cheese and served on toast
Ingredients:
Cooking Instructions:
- Melt the margarine in a saucepan and stir in the flour
- Cook for 1-2 minutes and gradually stir in the milk
- Bring to the boil, stirring all the time, then season with salt and pepper to taste
- Drain the salmon and remove the skin and bones
- Blend the salmon into the white sauce
- Toast the bread and spread with butter
- Spread the salmon mixture over the toast and sprinkle cheese on top
- Cook under a hot grill until the cheese melts and turns a golden brown
