Choice orange cream dessert with a tropical topping
Ingredients:
Cooking Instructions:
- Blend the cornflour to a smooth cream with 2-3 tablespoons of milk taken from 1 pint
- Bring the remainder of the milk to the boil, pour on to the mixed cornflour, stirring well
- Return to the pan, bring back to the boil, allow to boil for 1 minute, stirring all the time
- Stir in sugar to taste then allow blancmange to cool
- Drain the mandarin oranges, chop roughly, then divide between 4 individual dishes
- Fill the dishes with blancmange then sprinkle with desiccated coconut and leave to set
- Decorate with a slice of kiwi fruit in the center of each
