Description/Notes:
Tender beef and small white onions blended with a hint of cinnamon and cloves
Ingredients:
Cooking Instructions:
- Cut the meat into cube-like pieces and place in a stewpan with the oil
- Heat gently and brown all the meat to seal
- Mix together the water, tomato paste, vinegar, salt and pepper in another pan and bring to the boil
- Pour the boiling mixture over the meat in the other pan
- Stud the large onion with the whole cloves and add to the stew mixture together with cinnamon
- Cover and simmer gently for one and a half to two hours, or until the meat is tender, adding the small white onions about 30 minutes before the end of cooking time
