Sultanas in a baked apple

Serves 1


Handy pudding if you're already using the oven

  • 1 medium cooking apple
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • half an ounce (15g) sultanas

    Cooking Instructions:
    1. wash the apple
    2. Hold the apple firmly on a board and cut out the core with an apple corer
    3. Make a cut through the skin only round the middle of the apple
    4. Fill the apple with sultanas and sprinkle with cinnamon
    5. Put the appple in an ovenproof dish and pour in a little water
    6. Bake in an oven at 400F, Gas Mark 6, 200C for 30-40 minutes
