Souffle herb omlette

Serves 1


Whip up this nourishing, light snack in no time or serve with a jacket potaoto for a main meal.

  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 tsp. dried mixed herbs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. water

    Cooking Instructions:
    1. Place the egg yolks, mixed herbs, water, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl and beat toogether
    2. Whisk the egg whites until white and fluffy
    3. Fold together the egg whites and the mixture in the mixing bowl
    4. Lightly grease a non-stick frying pan with oil or butter
    5. Pour the mixture into the pan and cook over a fast heat until nearly set
    6. Place the pan under a pre-heated grill until the top browns, abou 2 minutes
    7. Serve immediatley on a warmed plate
