Salmon Bake

Serves 4

Description/Notes:

Wonderful flaked salmon baked in a gorgeous creamy sauce

Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. (225G) can of salmon
  • 8 fl. oz. (225ml) tomato sauce
  • half a teaspoon of Tabasco sauce
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 oz. (25g) Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons of cream
  • salt and pepper

    Cooking Instructions:
    1. Pre-heat the oven to 350F, Gas Mark 4, 180C
    2. Place the flaked salmon in a shallow ovenproof dish
    3. Mix the mayonnaise, tomato sauce, Tabasco, cream, salt and pepper together
    4. Pour the mixture over the salmon
    5. Arrange the tomato slices on top and sprinkle over the grated cheese
    6. Put in the pre-heated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until top is browned
