Cheesy Beefburgers

Serves 24


Ideal for making beforehand and freezing, freeze in a polybox uncooked, interleaved with greasproof paper. Thaw overnight in the fridge and cook as in recipe.

  • 4 medium onions
  • 4lb. (1.80kg) lean minced beef
  • 4oz (100g) butter
  • 8tblsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • i2tbsp. brown sauce
  • 8oz. (225g) grated Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 24 burger buns

    Cooking Instructions:
    1. First melt the butter in a pan then fry the onions gently for 5 minutes
    2. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the remaining ingredients
    3. Divide into 24 and shape into burgers
    4. cook on a well heated barbecue for 15 minutes
