Banana Tart


More of a pudding than a pie this banana tart is excellent with a little cream or custard.

  • 4-6 bananas, cut into thin rings
  • juice of half a lemon
  • one to one and a half tablespoons of sugar
  • flaky pastry, sufficient to cover pie-dish

    Cooking Instructions:
    1. Fill a greased pie-dish with the bananas
    2. Add the lemon juice and sugar
    3. Top with flaky pastry and bake until browned
